First Day of Class

After a cup of coffee and a tram ride, I had my first studio class. It was an overview of what goes on in the classes for graphic design. I am to decide soon what place I want to do for my identity project. From a list of these places:

Tiber Island
Capitol
Piazza della bocca della verita
Palatine
Campo de Fiori
Piazza del Popolo
Jewish Ghetto
Villa Borghese
Forum
Trajan's Market
Pantheon
Piazza Vittorio Emanuelle and Nuovo Mercato
Piazza della Madonna del Monti

I still need to decide, but I know that I will probably start that tomorrow. I think that the jet lag finally caught up with me, or something similar because I was exhausted today. I ended up sleeping after class from 12:00 to 17:00. Kaitlin and I went to the supermarket near the school so that we have provisions for the week. I had gotten shampoo and soap at the corner store after class, so I am set there. I am ready for the weekend, I kind of want to see what the market looks like on Sunday down Trastevere, but I am ready to relax and stay put for a bit.

I tried to make a pasta salad. It was okay; the noodles weren't cooked quite long enough, and the olive oil wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be, because it was more of a vinagrette. I also put some chicken in it, and some spices from in the cupboard. I had orange juice to go with it, which was really good. So this was attempt one at making noodles/pasta salad in Rome.

END of day 5.

Glad you finally got your suitcase! Hope you have a chance to rest and relax this weekend!!!
Love the pictures! Erin was amazed that the washer was in the bathroom.

If I were you, I would choose Campo di Fiori. Close-ish to studio. Definitely in the right direction in terms of your need to use tons of color or bright colors.

My advice is to try your best and ignore all previous logos for this site. Come up with your own solution. It's difficult to come up with your own concept once you've seen someone else's.

My advice is to take Ryan's advice.
