Then we, Kaitlin, Rebekah and I, went to the school and gave the personnel the documents that they needed in order to get the permit of stay. Then we went to Idea Profumi, a small gift shop type place and I got my September tram/bus pass and a purse that will be easier to carry. Then we walked back to the apartment to rest for a while. Rebekah and Meng switched rooms so that Rebekah could room with Kaitlin and I. She was in our room most of the time anyway... :)
We will probably go out to the market later today, but for now, Ciao!
Some time later...
Kaitlin, Rebekah and I went out to the small corner store, and I wanted to see the pizza portese and ask for Mossimo and Enrika, however, it seems as if they are under construction/remodeling, so I left. Then we went back inside the apartment to get Rebekah a tram ticket. We then took the tram North to where it stops and got out. We went into a bookstore to ask where we were on a map and then went touristing to places like: the Pantheon, Palazzo Chigi/Piazza Colonna, Fontana di Trevi, Palazzo delle Esposizioni, and Piazza delle Repubblica. I tried on a cute outfit, and almost got it, but when I looked closely, there was damage to the seams, and would have torn. Although now, I am thinking of going back to get it and fixing it myself.
Anyway, we were fairly tired and didn't want to walk all the way to the Colloseo, so we took the Metro to Termini, and then switched to the blue route metro and took that to the Colloseo. It was really awesome to get out of the Metro station and basically run into a historical monument, although I was slightly tired, hungry and at the beginning of being crabby.
We waked around the Arco di Tito and past the Arco di Consantino, it was interesting. There were men dressed up like Ancient Romans. We were getting tired, so I suggested that we go to the school at Piazza delle Cinque Scole, so that I could check if my luggage had arrived yet. We were fairly close because we had walked in a giant circle. Anyway, my luggage did arrive, YAY!!! So took it with me and we took the tram to go back to the apartment. I spent the next hour and a half/two hours unpacking my luggage and rearranging my things.
Towards the end of organizing, Rebekah and Kaitlin wanted to go out again because they were hungry. I got stuff together and we went to the market before it closed to get cheese, and meat. I got a box of honey nut Cheerios and a Kinder Egg. We then went down the street and got a gelato, and headed back to the apartment to eat our sandwiches. I tried to make myself a basted egg, it wasn't as good as the one dad made me, and it fell apart when I put water on it, I'll try again tomorrow. I also made a sandwich with bread, mayo, ham, and provolone. We then washed the dishes, so that there wouldn't be egg and cheese everywhere. The Kaitlin, Rebekah and I practiced our basic Italian. Now, we are each on our own beds: I am blogging; Rebekah is watching a movie/was going to go to sleep, but forgot/Facebook; Kaitlin is on Facebook/Uploading videos on YouTube. So I think that we are going to bed soon so that we can get up tomorrow for class/orientation/I don't even know.

Glad to see pictures of your apartment. Sounds like you ladies aren't wasting any time in getting out and exploring! Good for you!
No wonder you're tired. Walking and eating, walking and eating. So exciting to hear about the monuments. They are, well, so monumental! Big time history over there. Really old stuff. That would be so cool to see.
By the way, heat the pan first, add the egg with the yoke intact. cover it for about 20 seconds, then add about 1/2 teaspoon of water and quickly cover again. Watch the yokes coat white in color. Remove heat and leave covered.
Then maybe they will be the best eggs you ever b(t)asted.
Humor.
